Ryan & I were married April 6, 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. We met through a mutual friend a year earlier. We are currently living in West Valley Utah. We both work fulltime and attend school at Salt Lake Community College. Ryan is currently serving as the Ward Choir Director (the same position he held in the Singles Ward where we met). I am serving as a Part-Time Church Service Missionary (I answer the phones from the referral center at the MTC) as well serving as a counselor in the Stake Primary Presidency. We keep ourselves busy! We don’t have any children yet, and look forward to that blessing soon.

Yay! In less than 3 weeks, we will all gather for our reunion! We hope everyone and their families can make it. We are so excited to see everyone again! We’ve tried hard to contact as many people as possible, and we know there are many we’ve missed. Make sure to pass the word along so that we can get everyone there! Send questions or RSVP to smialumni@gmail.com. See you March 7!

Gary and I have been married for 9 years now! It’s so hard to believe. We have six beautiful children and our oldest, Emma Kate, was just baptized on Jan. 24th. Gary was hired by CES in June 2005 and began by teaching for aproximatly one year at the SDSU Institute. (where we used to go to dances. THey don’t do them there anymore) After his time at the SDSU Institute he became the Director at the Chula Vista Institute that is associated with South Western College. I send my 3 oldest tro school and care for my other 3 during the day. Also I kind of run a fun Music class for preschoolers as one of our wards enrichment groups. I didn’t come up with the idea, I just took over when the origionator moved. I have been one our Relief Society Instructors for the past 3 years and I love it. THere really isn’t much more to tell. Life is beautiful for us and we feel extremely blessed!

Greg and I were happily married July 14th, 2006 in the San Diego Temple. It was the typical Mormon story really. We were in the same ward up at BYU-Idaho and met by chance one night because my FHE brothers weren’t home. Well he stole my heart with his military charm rugged good looks and basically from there on out the rest is history! We are now currently living in Phoenix, Arizona while Greg completes Law School at ASU. I graduated from BYU-Idaho with my bachelors in Sociology and am now working at the University of Phoenix as a Doctoral Enrollment Adviser. Greg often teases that I’m his ‘Sugar Mamma’.
Speaking of ‘Mamma’ we are currently expecting our first child July 25, 2009 and CAN’T wait! We won’t be in Arizona for long as Greg is in the Army and we will probably be heading to the East Coast in about a year for Officer’s Basic and to start our military life together.
I can’t believe how much has changed since the Institute days and love that we’re all connecting again. Everyone looks so good and I look forward to seeing more of you!

After a short courtship Eric and Katie got married in the summer of 2004. Eight months later they discovered that they were pregnant with their first baby girl, Lucylle! Three months after they had Lucy, they discovered that they were pregnant, yet again, with Evelyn!!!

Lucy is now almost 3 and Evey is almost 2! Their birthdays are a year and ONE day apart (Feb. 1st and Feb. 2nd).
Lucy is a fun loving toddler who enjoys singing primary songs, dress up, and pretending like to be a cat.
Evey is a daddy’s girl. She loves to cuddle and dance more than anything and she hates being “messy. “
Eric graduated with honors from California State San Marcos with a degree in Psychology and is now studying to take the GRE and enter Grad school! He is currently working for CASE Family Inc. as an In-home Behavior Therapist for children diagnosed with Autism. He loves his job!
Katie is lucky enough to be a full time mom, raising their two gorgeous girls at home. At home she continues to draw and paint, but is also learning how to crochet and sew! When their kids are old enough, she plans to return to school and finish her degree as an Art major.
They live in the San Marcos area, and having family and friends close by, would be very sad if they ever had to move away. They love sunny old San Diego!!!

Josh Smith & Misi Mann were married in May of 2003, and now live in SLC, UT with their three cute kids: A 4 and a half year old girl – (loves singing & making noise in general, reading, coloring, primary, and bossing her little brothers around); A 3y.o. boy (loves tools, Batman, running, shoveling snow, blueberry yogurt, and playing with big sister); And another sweet boy, 1 in Feb. (loves his daddy, peek-a-boo, patty-cake, being held by mommy all day long, & chasing after his big siblings when she can’t). Josh is still working in IT, but now he enjoys using his computer-geek skills for the Church. He earned a Masters in Space Studies last year and would love to get a doctorate in AstroPhysics. Being the 1st Counselor in the Bishopric, serving on the city’s Planning Commission, and being the world’s best daddy, however, doesn’t leave as much time for school as he’d like. Misi now goes by her middle name, Alisa, and is busy keeping track of the kids all day. They are her world now, and she loves it. She teaches in Relief Society, and in her spare time enjoys reading, blogging (mrs.smith.smithfam.us), writing, going on dates with Josh, and playing piano. Someday she hopes to (a) get a kids’ book published, (b) sleep through the night again, and (c) have a clean house. It’s likely that the latter two won’t happen for another 18 years… but that’s okay.

Lance and I got married in the San Diego Temple on Dec. 10, 2005 and lived in San Marcos, doing the work and school thing for a couple of years. We had a beautiful little girl, Mia Nicole on June 15, 2007, then 2 months later moved to Phoenix, AZ for a great job opportunity. We’ve been here for just over a year now and for the most part we like it. We have a great ward and have been able to make good friends. Lance is an Enrollment Counselor at the University of Phoenix and is finishing up his degree in business & marketing there. Between work & school he doesn’t have a lot of free time. I’m a mom & a wife & I really love getting crafty and playing with Mia. She was a flower pixy for
Halloween (that’s the pic). Most of the time she is so stinkin’ cute and hilarious (might I add), and the other part of the time she is just a stinker. I think we are hitting the terrible twos early, man that girl can throw a tantrum. For example, she gave herself a black eye today. I had a bowl of Jelly beans out, she wanted one, I told her she had to eat her dinner first, she then threw herself forward into the edge of the couch hitting her face just below the eye…thus a black eye. Lovely. What can I say. Life is good. You can check us out on our blog: www.adayineternity.blogspot.com.
